Is it okay to ask for samples of perfume or makeup at department stores like Macy's?
If you walked into Macy's and asked, "Can I have a sample of the perfume, Escada Moon Sparkle?" or "Can I have a sample of the lip gloss?" Would the sales people look at you weirdly or just give you a sample? If you've ever done this before, tell me what you asked for and if you got it

If they have samples, they would be delighted to give them to you. Trust me, I do this ALL the time!
They are trying to get you to buy their product, so they'll give you a sample in hopes that you'll like it and come buy the product.
I've gotten TONS of free samples in my lifetime, and the sales people are eager to give them to you.
Want to know another way to get free stuff? Ask at the beauty counter for a makeover and they'll do it for free! Plus, places like Sephora offer a free membership thingy where they'll send you samples in the mail and you'll get discounts at the store!
