Recently I'm starting to curve the ball when taking placed kicks?
When I cross the ball or take goal kicks, recently I'm starting to curve the ball. What am I doing wrong? I never use to have that problem before. Am I kicking the ball wrong? Not following through? It's really frustrating!
that's all natural, if you kick with your right foot you will naturally curve it to the left, if you kick it with you left foot you will naturally curve it to your right. you have to have a lot of practice to not curve the ball at all it's almost impossible. if you want to take a hard shot you want to hit the ball as directly behind it as you can so you get all the power behind the ball as opposed to into the spin. but you can use the spin to your great advantage if you learn how to control it, and curve it around a wall or to fake out the goalkeeper, if you want to be really deceptive you can hit it with the outside of your foot because when you follow-through it looks like the ball should curve the ball the same way as your follow-through but it goes the opposite way and is really confusing
