HELp wih planning a trip! I have never been anywhere aside from my city! I am VERY confused!!!!!?
WELL.
In a year or so0, I really want to go on a trip somewhere. Probably like the Bahama's.. Just somewhere hot and nice,
However, I am extremely confused, with travelling, I know nothing... I know how to get to the bus stop across the street, that's about it.
What would be the steps in plannign a trip? How do I do it? I know you can do it online, but I am extremely confused on everything. I would probably like a package that includes the flights, hotel and also food and drinks. Could someone just find me one of those packages on a travel website, any package.. just so I can take a look at one?!

You plan a trip by starting with a budget.
To figure how much you might need, go on Orbitz, Travelocity or any other site and look over some destinations.
Next. Target your destination choices by going online on sites like TravelAdvisors and read peoples reviews. TravelAdvisors is a good site because people write reviews on what there is to do!!!! And, HOW BEST TO DO IT!
Next, go back to the Travel sites and look up special package deals of the place where you want to go.
Next, figure out how you plan to travel - getting there (air or cruise) travel while you are there (rent car, bus, train, etc)
Now, figure out how much the package deal that you like would cost + food + activities + whatever else you think you'll need.
Just to give you an idea, I just returned from a 15 day trip to Scotland, England, France and Germany for 2 people.
Cost: $ 11,500.00
Earlier in the year 9 days on three of Hawaii's islands.
Cost: $ 8,000.00
3 Years Ago, Las Vegas for 4 days
Cost: $ 2,200.00
12 Years ago, 8 day Caribbean Cruise out of San Juan on Cunard Cruise lines to St. Thomas, La Guaria, Venezuela, Barbados, Grenada, Martinique.
Cost: $ 2,500.00
This should give you a good idea on HOW to plan a trip and what you might expect in general on trip costs.
Remember, Planning a trip is fun. You get more excited when you do your research. The more you learn in advance, the more fun you will have.
